2013 – 3rd Tranche

This latest tranche of funding, of almost £273k, has been distributed to 32 charities working across Scotland, and brings the Foundation’s grants total for 2013 to £558,432.  

23 charities across Scotland will receive a total of £171,746 from the Foundation’s Small Grants Programme and a further 10 awards will benefit charities to the sum of £101,081 from its innovative Volunteering Grants Programme.

Charities benefiting from these most recent donations include Breast Cancer Care Scotland, The Yard Adventure Centre in Edinburgh and East Sutherland Citizens Advice Bureau. And through the Volunteering Grants Programme, hundreds of new volunteering opportunities will be created.

The Bank of Scotland Foundation is an independent charity supporting people and their local communities across Scotland. It receives an annual donation of £1m from Lloyds Banking Group to fund its Grants Programmes and Matched Giving Programme. This donation is set to increase to £2m from 2014.
