Bank of Scotland Foundation is set to grant in excess of £600,000 to charities across Scotland through its three Grants Programmes. Bringing the total distributed since November 2010 to over £6.8m, the Foundation has provided support to over 800 charities since its launch.

The first tranche of 2015 grants awarded by the Bank of Scotland Foundation, amounts to £199,708, and takes the total distributed by the Foundation to over £6m since 2010, providing much needed support to over 800 charities across Scotland.
23 Scottish charities will benefit from the last tranche of funding made by the Bank of Scotland Foundation this year. This final tranche, in excess of £215,000, brings total grants made during 2014 by the Foundation to over £815,000 benefitting some 97 Scottish charities. This brings the total sum distributed since the Foundation’s launch in November 2010 to £5.7m.

The Bank of Scotland Foundation is set to launch its first ever Large Grants Programme that will offer charities sustainable funding over multiple years. This additional programme will provide grants of between £50,000 and £100,000, and is in addition to the Foundation’s existing grants giving portfolio.

Reinforcing its commitment to charities based across the breadth of Scotland, Bank of Scotland Foundation has today revealed the 17 charities that are set to benefit from grants amounting to over £108,000. The grants, ranging from £1,000 to over £15,000, will benefit a wide range of charitable causes including the elderly, young people, disability, financial advice and literacy.
Reinforcing its commitment to charities based across the breadth of Scotland, Bank of Scotland Foundation has today announced the launch of a new Grants Programme. In addition to those it already offers, the launch of the new Medium Grants Programme ensures the Foundation is now in a position to impact a much wider range of charities than before.
This latest tranche of funding, of almost £273k, has been distributed to 32 charities working across Scotland, and brings the Foundation’s grants total for 2013 to £558,432.
23 charities across Scotland will receive a total of £171,746 from the Foundation’s Small Grants Programme and a further 10 awards will benefit charities to the sum of £101,081 from its innovative Volunteering Grants Programme.
