Volunteering Grants Programme

In 2012, the Bank of Scotland Foundation launched an innovative new £100,000 programme aimed at boosting community volunteering programmes across Scotland.

Working closely with the Lloyds Banking Group Volunteering Programme, the initiative aimed to provide Scottish charities with not just funding, but also the manpower to really make a difference to their local communities by engaging Lloyds Banking Group colleague volunteers.

The Foundation allocated £100,000 to support community volunteering projects through the Volunteering Grants Programme and the successful charities are listed below;

Breast Cancer Care Scotland
Central Scotland Forest Trust
Children 1st
Edinburgh Cyrenian Trust
Stroke Association
Urban Roots Initiative

Lloyds Banking Group is now engaging colleague volunteers across Scotland to support the projects that are being funded.
