The Bank of Scotland Foundation has launched this year’s Large Grants Programme, accepting applications of between £50,000 and £100,000 from charities registered in Scotland. While the Foundation’s Small and Medium Grants require charities to use all of the funds within 12 months, Large Grants provide charities with steady, reliable, funding over a number of years.

Over 80 charities attended a unique free half-day digital workshop in Edinburgh yesterday (1 June 2016), to help them improve their digital skills. The workshop was hosted by the Bank of Scotland Foundation, in collaboration with Bank of Scotland and Google, to improve the digital presence of charities and the digital awareness of their employees.

Motherwell Football Club Community Trust (“the Trust”) will be delivering the Memory Well, an innovative reminiscence therapy project for dementia sufferers, thanks to £14,400 funding from the Bank of Scotland Foundation.

During 2015, a total of 88 Scottish charities benefitted from Bank of Scotland Foundation grants totalling over £1.2m. All those charities successfully applied for funding through the Foundation’s 2015 Small, Medium and Large Grants programmes.

Bank of Scotland Foundation is set to grant in excess of £600,000 to charities across Scotland through its three Grants Programmes. Bringing the total distributed since November 2010 to over £6.8m, the Foundation has provided support to over 800 charities since its launch.

The first tranche of 2015 grants awarded by the Bank of Scotland Foundation, amounts to £199,708, and takes the total distributed by the Foundation to over £6m since 2010, providing much needed support to over 800 charities across Scotland.

December 2014
23 Scottish charities will benefit from the last tranche of funding made by the Bank of Scotland Foundation this year. This final tranche, in excess of £215,000, brings total grants made during 2014 by the Foundation to over £815,000 benefitting some 97 Scottish charities. This brings the total sum distributed since the Foundation’s launch in November 2010 to £5.7m.

The Bank of Scotland Foundation, an independent charity that supports people and their local communities across Scotland, announces grants totalling £276,676 from three separate grant making programmes. This brings the total sum distributed since the Foundation's launch in November 2010 to £5.3m.
June 2014
In celebration of its commitment to charities based across the breadth of Scotland, Bank of Scotland Foundation welcomed over 100 (combined) MSPs and charities to its third annual reception at the Scottish Parliament earlier this week. The Foundation has distributed in excess of £4.7m to over 700 charities since its launch in November 2010.

The Bank of Scotland Foundation is set to further help improve the quality of life for those who are facing challenging circumstances, with the launch of its first ever Financial Inclusion Grants Programme.

The Bank of Scotland Foundation is set to launch its first ever Large Grants Programme that will offer charities sustainable funding over multiple years. This additional programme will provide grants of between £50,000 and £100,000, and is in addition to the Foundation’s existing grants giving portfolio.
