Today, the independent charity, Bank of Scotland Foundation announced that ten Scottish charities have been awarded a share of £1,036,551 over the next 3-5 years through their Invest grant programme. This funding will help these charities to continue their vital work in tackling disadvantage or social exclusion and supporting those most in need.

Bank of Scotland Foundation has announced it awarded more than £5 million to over 500 Scottish charities in 2022, helping more than 200,000 people access essential local services and personal support.

Bank of Scotland Foundation, has announced it is providing almost £1,000,000 of additional financial support to Scotland’s Third Sector to help charities through the cost of living crisis.

Eleven Scottish charities have received grant awards from Bank of Scotland Foundation’s multi-year Invest programme. In total, they will share £1,446,155 over a period of 3-5 years.

Bank of Scotland Foundation, an independent charity supporting people and their local communities across Scotland, is launching its Invest grant programme today - a multi-year programme for charities helping vulnerable people manage various financial issues.

Since the Foundation launched on 10th November 2010, its funding has helped to improve the lives of hundreds of thousands of people across Scotland, addressing areas such as unemployment, poverty, digital inclusion, mental health and homelessness in some of Scotland’s most deprived areas. 

Eight charities across Scotland have received the first grant awards from Bank of Scotland Foundation’s new Invest programme, which will help to ensure financial certainty during these exceptionally difficult times.

Bank of Scotland Foundation recognises that Coronavirus will have an impact on charities throughout Scotland. In many instances, charities will be even more crucial than ever in providing practical and emotional support and tackling isolation.

While Scottish charities are facing an increasingly challenging funding environment, 62 charities have got the New Year off to a good start thanks to a share of almost £1.9m of funding.

We are seeking two Trustees to join our Board and contribute to our ambitious new strategy.

Potential candidates could come from a variety of different backgrounds and should have a good knowledge of the issues facing local communities and the voluntary sector. They should have experience of working at board level and be confident that they can make a valuable contribution to the Foundation's work.

Bank of Scotland Foundation, an independent charity supporting people and their local communities across Scotland, is making preparations to expand its funding programmes later this year.    ‘Supporting Positive Change Across Scotland’ is the Foundation’s five-year strategic plan which will see a range of new funding programmes open in 2019 and 2020 as the Foundation rethinks its approach to how it invests and becomes a more flexible grant maker.
